Don't erase my blog!

I just signed on to my blog, when I encountered this message:

Blogger's spam-prevention robots have detected that your blog has characteristics of a spam blog. (What's a spam blog?) Since you're an actual person reading this, your blog is probably not a spam blog. Automated spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and we sincerely apologize for this false positive.

We received your unlock request on August 27, 2007. On behalf of the robots, we apologize for locking your non-spam blog. Please be patient while we take a look at your blog and verify that it is not spam.

The message also notified me that if I didn't respond within two days, my blog would be erased! Yikes! That's completely crazy, what if I was on vacation and unable to use the internet for a few days?

Wow, loosing my blog would really, REALLY piss me off.

So how does it feel having your blog flagged as spam? :)
I knew it was a bad idea to use all those spam messages you've been getting as topics :)

Hello Ms. D (007 in Africa),

If your blog was erased, taken down, or damaged in any way I also would be terribly pissed off. It's great to see you are still writing and publishing to your blog and that you are safe-and-sound back in the States.

I just wanted to let you know that I have done a DRC update (Nov 7th) on the plight of women and girls in the "wild wild East" with a Hat Tip to the original "Congo Crew". Louis Abelman (you remember Lou, don't you?) and his filmmaking team has hit the big time with their documentary film 'Lumo' which aired on PBS in September and has gotten good reviews at Variety and The New York Times and was featured this past weekend on CNN Inside Africa.

Of course the Congo Crew bloggers and friends were on top of this story (Lumo) eons before CNN, PBS, and the traditional media got hold of it.... as usual. Check it out when you find the time and in the meantime be well and wishing you much success in your endeavors and adventures. I'll look you up the next time I have to drop in at the White House or testify on Capitol Hill...:-)
