oh wow, 68 degrees is cold? that is like, almost as warm as it ever gets here! in the middle of summer our average is about 75-76. it must get *really* hot there.
A website says "Dakar's annual rainfall of about 61 centimeters (24 in.) occurs between June and October when maximum temperatures average 27oC (82oF)".
I guess 82 degrees Fahrenheit doesn't seem too bad but you have to keep in mind that it stays that hot for 5 months. With no air-conditioners.
Bahaha! Last week it got quite warm here (by warm, I mean: 5 degrees celcius).
It was lovely, I didn't even need my coat and went out in a light jacket. People were sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather. And--gasp-- it even rained.
