Ridiculous

It's been quite a lot cooler lately. I have started to wear a thick scarf and a sweater to work.

It's 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celscius).

oh wow, 68 degrees is cold? that is like, almost as warm as it ever gets here! in the middle of summer our average is about 75-76. it must get *really* hot there.

A website says "Dakar's annual rainfall of about 61 centimeters (24 in.) occurs between June and October when maximum temperatures average 27oC (82oF)".

I guess 82 degrees Fahrenheit doesn't seem too bad but you have to keep in mind that it stays that hot for 5 months. With no air-conditioners.

Bahaha! Last week it got quite warm here (by warm, I mean: 5 degrees celcius).

It was lovely, I didn't even need my coat and went out in a light jacket. People were sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather. And--gasp-- it even rained.

Le monde a l'envers?
